MEET THE EDITOR

When NHSN decided to launch its newsletter, enlisting Carlos Rodriguez to be the editor was a no-brainer.  He holds a BA and an MA, has experience in sales, state government and educational management. 

Born in Jersey City, NJ Carlos Rodriguez was a high school Track and Field standout.  Initially recruited by over 50 colleges and universities, Carlos continued to pursue his athletic career at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, graduating with a Bachelor's and Master's degree.

Presently Carlos is a Realtor Associate and specializes in residential and commercial sales predominately in New Jersey.   
In addition to Real Estate, Carlos has also worked in higher education as an administrator and with the State Government.  Carlos background and his experiences in reform efforts for inner-city schools, review of new building facilities, review of multi-million dollar budgets, knowledge of state and federal administrative code and issues related to management will be an invaluable asset to the organization.   

Carlos has previously served as a Board member for The New Jersey College Bound Programs, The National Board of Directors for Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity Inc., Past Master of Hightstown-Apollo Masonic lodge and presently serves as the Director of Communications for the NHSN Northeast Region.   

In his personal life, he enjoys spending time with his two children and whenever possible, remains active by speaking at colleges and high schools on a variety of topics.
